Raeburn Recruitment are assisting our client, a leading radiation protection consultancy, with a requirement for a Trainee Radiation Protection Adviser. This is a permanent opportunity based in Aberdeen.
As Trainee Radiation Protection Adviser, you will be working and learning in a team with one of the trained and experienced RPAs. Your main duties will include:
– Reviewing procedures, auditing, planning, meeting regulators, reporting
– Providing day-to-day advice on radiation protection and compliance with Ionising Radiation Regulations
– Preparing and reviewing of radiation management procedures and radiological risk assessments
– Site visits and compliance audits
– Delivering radiation protection training courses
– Arranging calibration of radiation monitors
To be considered for the Trainee Radiation Protection Adviser opportunity, you should be able to demonstrate:
– Experience as an HSE Advisor within Oil and Gas sector willing to change the career path
– Highly motivated, enthusiastic and well organised
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
