SENIOR SAFETY OFFICER – QATAR, please see details below:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ HSE Management (Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering preferred).
Experience:
+ 10+ years of experience in Safety and Loss Prevention Environment.
+ 3-5 years in O&G or Petrochemical Industry.
+ Good experience in reviewing engineering drawings (PFD, P&ID, SAFE charts etc).
Key responsibilities include:
+ Overseeing the safety and loss prevention information, support and mentorship to ensure the safe conduct of work.
+ Assisting Head of Safety and Loss Prevention Engineers in the formulation and development of safety programmes in the plant.
+ Developing and coordinating orientation programmes aimed at promoting accident prevention programmes and maintaining high level of safety awareness.
