SENIOR PETROLEUM ENGINEER – ONSHORE OPERATIONS
The department plans and conducts long-term integrated subsurface studies to optimize field development and supports extensive operational activities in close liaison with the drilling and Production Operations dept. The key responsibility will be for Optimization and preparation of the planned CO2 WAG Pilot. Drilling is planned in 2020 and 2021 and for pilot start-up in 2022.
EOR Specialist staff are needed starting in 2018 to optimize the CO2 WAG Pilot design [ wells location, CO2 injection cycles and injection rates to prepare for an extensive data acquisition program, to follow up implementation, monitor the pilot, interpret results, apply results on a full field basis for a final recommendation for a full field CO2 WAG project implementation. Developing the EOR competency within the department is an integral part of the role.
B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering plus 15 years min experience in Surveillance and Production Optimization Engineering for mature or large oil and gas field preferably carbonate reservoirs. Proven expertise in EOR preferably CO2 WAG flooding. Software – OFM, Prosper, GAP, Emeraude or similar.
