Job Description

Provides onsite planning, coordination of preparation and execution, and post-job evaluation of all operations classified as Well Interventions, executed in rigless mode or for rig assistance, Tubing, Completion and SWT Operations

To supervise a Well Services operational activities such that agreed production targets are met in a safe and cost effective manner in coordinating Teams for Slickline, Pumping, Well Head Maintenance, Coiled Tubing , Snubbing etc..

To motivate personnel and to actively pursue the company’s deferment targets within his department

To manage all Well Services Jobs proficiently ensuring effective technical and HSE Performance

To achieve company set production and HSE targets

To achieve set targets at lowest NPT, LTI and Tools cost.

To manage and develop a motivated and competent workforce

Apply the Well Integrity Management System on all wells throughout their life cycle.

Be acting as Team Lead Services in case of Superintendant absence.

Supervise all well intervention operations within a cased hole with the exception of breaching the casing or deepening the well.

To supervise the maintenance equipments throughout its life cycle

To manage the operational interface between Well Services and the Drilling, Petroleum Engineering and Operations Department

To assist to manage timely and effective close out of all related outstanding audit items within the Operations Department.

To control operational expansion of the Well Services activities in a safe and controlled budget environment.

To manage the preparation of well conduit subassemblies and assure timely delivery to the Rigs.

To manage the increased Assala equipment inventory, resulting from the expansion project, its certification and safe operations in a cost efficient manner Key Technical Attributes &

Requirements

Experience of staff performing the Service

Supervision of the well Intervention operations in compliance with codes of practices, while optimizing and improving costs.

Ensuring that all assigned personnel satisfy their duty of obligations onsite. Lead regular equipment inspections on location, report and act on the results of those audits

Ensuring all well work programs are designed with safety in mind, and that all major risks have been identified and mitigated with reviewing of JHA onsite

Operations:

Apply and follow Company rules and related international practices and standards. By default, if the standard is not explained by Company Rules, the API Recommended Practices are applicable

Prepare/review well Intervention program, procedures, and ensure that deviations from programs are only executed with the appropriate level of technical authorisation.

Ensure all lessons learned are captured and shared within Company and Contractors for operations optimization purposes.

Ensures that Well Integrity principles and requirements are maintained in rig operations

Control contractors’ equipment mobilization, site storage and utilization, and optimize the cost by timely demobilization of unnecessary items.

Reviews all proposed BHA and tallies during execution of the operations.

Required Qualifications / Experience of personnel executing the service

Minimum 10 years of supervisory Well Services experience

Well developed contract and cost management skills

Personal commitment and demonstrable ability to manage and promote HSE awareness

Well developed team leadership skills

Proven management skills

Well developed inter personal skills
