Overview

  • Positions Available – Lead Operator, A Operator, B Operator.
  • 7 & 7 or 14 & 14 schedule, depending on the job location.
  • Crew change day and location vary along the Gulf Coast from Louisiana to Texas.
  • Full-time position; day and/or night shifts available.

Requirements

  • 2-10 years of offshore production operator experience that is equivalent to the operations position you’re applying for.
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
  • Required to travel to the worksite via vessel or helicopter transport.
  • Must have knowledge of basic computer programs such as Excel, Word, etc.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Duties

  • Perform and maintain client and regulatory agency required paperwork- safety meetings, maintenance records, production reports, platform testing records, manifests, emergency procedures, etc.
  • Operate, monitor, maintain, inspect, and/or repair most processing equipment, safety devices, rotating equipment, etc. found on the facility.
  • Monitor control panels, shutdown devices, liquid levels, flow rates, temperatures, etc. to keep them within the designed operating ranges.
  • Operate safety equipment in accordance with BSEE and USCG regulations.
  • Promote safety and good housekeeping practices.

MECHANIC

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working as a mechanic on an offshore production platform.
  • Experience working with the main manufacturers of rotating equipment found on offshore production facilities.
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
  • Required to travel to the worksite via vessel or helicopter transport.
  • Must have a working knowledge of oil and gas process equipment and platform operations.
  • Must have knowledge of basic computer programs such as Excel, Word, etc.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

Duties

  • Responsible for efficient operations of all rotating equipment found on the facility- generators, compressors, pumps, cranes, etc. in accordance with the manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform general maintenance and minor repairs on offshore mechanical equipment.
  • Develop solutions for mechanical processes and technical issues.
  • Assist with regulatory testing and inspections of the facility.
  • Perform and maintain client and regulatory agency required paperwork- safety meetings, maintenance records, manifests, emergency procedures, etc.
  • Operate safety equipment in accordance with BSEE and USCG regulations.
  • Promote safety and good housekeeping practices.

ELECTRICIAN

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working as an electrician on an offshore production platform.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Experienced common electrical components found on an offshore production platform.
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
  • Required to travel to the worksite via vessel or helicopter transport.
  • Must have a working knowledge of oil and gas process equipment and platform operations.
  • Must have knowledge of basic computer programs such as Excel, Word, etc.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

Duties

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all power generation and distribution equipment- generators and engine controls, switchgears, transformers, etc.
  • Maintenance and repair of all platform electrical components.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of general platform equipment such as HVAC system, refrigeration plants, communication systems, and lighting.
  • Install new equipment as required, with regards to electrical wiring, fixtures and junction boxes.
  • Assist in performing and interpreting power calculations, power factor, insulation tests, and positive relay tests as required.
  • Assist with regulatory testing and inspections of the facility.
  • Perform and maintain client and regulatory agency required paperwork- safety meetings, maintenance records, manifests, emergency procedures, etc.
  • Operate safety equipment in accordance with BSEE and USCG regulations.
  • Promote safety and good housekeeping practices.

I&E TECHNICIAN

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working as an I&E technician on an offshore production platform.
  • Experience working with Allen Bradley systems.
  • Experience with modern instrumentation and control equipment and measurement equipment.
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
  • Required to travel to the worksite via vessel or helicopter transport.
  • Must have a working knowledge of oil and gas process equipment and platform operations.
  • Must have knowledge of basic computer programs such as Excel, Word, etc.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

Duties

  • Installation, troubleshooting, commissioning and programing of automation systems.
  • Calibration of instruments and valve positioners.
  • Plan and execute system shutdowns in support of module or factory upgrades.
  • Participate in design reviews for proposed system upgrades and provide input on system sustainability.
  • Provide inputs and proposals on improving automation and control at the facility.
  • Assist with regulatory testing and inspections of the facility.
  • Perform and maintain client and regulatory agency required paperwork- safety meetings, maintenance records, manifests, emergency procedures, etc.
  • Operate safety equipment in accordance with BSEE and USCG regulations.
  • Promote safety and good housekeeping practices.
