Process Operator/Chemical Technician
Job Description:

Responsibilities
Equipment Operation:
· Operate equipment for mixing and blending raw materials based on specified formulations and production needs.
· Monitor and regulate the blending process, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal mixing and consistent distribution of materials.
Material Handling:
· Safely handle the loading and unloading of materials into and from t tanks, adhering to standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
· Perform visual inspections of raw materials to detect any abnormalities or discrepancies before commencing the blending process.
Quality Control:

· Record and document batch information, including material quantities, blending times, and any deviations from standard procedures.
Maintenance and Cleaning:
· Perform regular maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and sanitizing components to prevent cross-contamination between batches.
· Notify the operations manager and team of any equipment malfunctions or abnormalities, and provide assistance in troubleshooting as necessary
Safety Compliance:
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines rigorously, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling hazardous materials with care.
· Engage in safety training sessions and actively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to established safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
· Associate of Applied Science Degree or equivalent qualification.
· Preferred 2-4 years of relevant processing experience.
· Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
· Previous familiarity with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems is advantageous.
· Intermediate understanding of Mathematics and Chemistry.
· Ability to visually estimate material dimensions and make referential estimations.
· Capability to comprehend and convert units of measurement.
· Mechanical aptitude and practical hands-on experience
