We are seeking an Operations Technician – Mechanical to join our INPEX operations team in Darwin. Join us in helping shape a brighter energy future.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reporting to the Maintenance Team Lead and responsible for executing mechanical maintenance at the Onshore LNG processing facility
- Perform planned unplanned and corrective maintenance activities
- Assist in preparation of maintenance planned shutdowns and campaigns.
- Accurately report information in the SAP.
- Work in accordance with Inpex standards and procedures
- Highly experienced in performing mechanical maintenance on the following equipment:
- Multistage Centrifugal pumps -overhauls, seal replacements and alignments.
- Static Plant equipment, including strainers, valves, filters,and exchangers.
- Be familiar in the use of Tensioning and Hi Torque Flange management procedures.
- Hydraulic systems, fault finding and maintenance.
- Exposure to the following would be highly regarded.
- Frame 6 and 7 Gas Turbines
- Steam Turbines
- BCL/ MCL Gas Compressors
- Marine loading arms
Key qualifications, skills and experience required:
- Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
- Extensive experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an Operational maintenance environment.
- Desirable to have Onshore LNG Plant, or other hydrocarbon facility experience.
