To manage major offshore facilities including production Complex, Well head platforms and island tank farm facilities on behalf of the Company as defined by legislation and Company Policies, procedures and management systems.
Has overarching responsibility for the safety, welfare, and discipline of all personnel on the complex during normal and restricted operations.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree with 10 years’ supervisory and management experience preferably gained in production operations offshore and at least 5 years’ as an offshore OIM/OIS.
The OIS is the most senior employee on site and has wide authority to take operational decisions to protect the lives and health of all personnel on board and request mobilization of any necessary support to ensure this with proven experience in manpower management.
· In-depth knowledge of PTW systems, Hazard reviews, ALARP
principles, Risk Assessment and HAZOPs.
· Working knowledge of Process Plant, Wellheads, Wireline &
Drilling.
· OIM Controlling Emergencies certification to OPITO
standards.
