Our Client, a unique pioneer in the oil and gas sector involved in LNG production and distribution is sourcing for a Field Operator. The Field Operator is responsible for carrying out observations, data collection, analysis & control of local control panels, equipment, and production instruments of different systems under his responsibility, detecting near miss, unsafe acts or conditions, and providing suggestions and proposals for improvement.
Location: Port Harcourt
Responsibilities:
Perform observations and data collection on local control panels, electrical and mechanical equipment, and instruments of the different systems under his/ her responsibility. Assist operation activities in another unit (s) during a heavy workload or when another field operator is absent.
Perform local operations as instructed, according to approved procedures, and promote compliance with HSE standards and guidelines at work, including any work engaging contractors.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree/HND in any Engineering discipline.
Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years’ working experience in process plant operations out of which 2 years must be in Field operation.
Candidate must have canal knowledge of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, absorbers, and metering systems.
