Job purpose :
Carries out the repair, overhaul and calibration of Gas Turbine, High Pressure water injection pumps, Auxiliaries and process control equipment on site or in workshop. Including ordinary control systems.e.g. pressures, temperatures, levels, transmitters etc. uses various types of tool and test equipment. Refers to drawings are required.
Principal Accountabilities:.
- Obtains work permits from Area Authority (Delegation), review work assigned and arrange for the necessary transport, material, tools and equipment to complete the task.
- Receives instructions, obtain specified material, spare parts and tools.
- Under the guidance of a Senior Technician, Participate in major overhauls and carry out all control / instrumentation aspects of re-commissioning work in accordance with company standards, codes and practice.
- Carries out preventive and routine maintenance and functional tests in accordance with maintenance procedures on a variety of equipment and loops.
- Reports completion of work and assists in final testing as instructed.
- Should be able to do the duties of senior technician if requirement arises.
- Receives, identifies and sorts out incoming spare parts, components and consumable; prepare, tag and ship out-going Turbine maintenance freight.
- Ensures all maintenance activities are conducted within company standing instructions and procedures and good oil industry practice.
- Ensures strict adherence to HSE Standards and Guidelines set by the company. Maintains tools and equipment in a serviceable condition, practice good housekeeping in the workshop and on sites.
- Provide training and guidance to newly employed technicians including UAE National Developees to facilitate assuming their positions in the company.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Secondary technical education certificate followed by 2 years full time training leading to a diploma in Instrumentation and control engineering. Higher Diploma holder is preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in Instrumentation and control turbine works related to Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas Construction Projects.
- Fluent in English language, both written and verbal.
