Function description

The maintenance department provides services to all plant units at a renowned company in the western part of the province Brabant. After ‘out of business’ period, it was decided to put a part of a plant unit again into operation for production. The commissioning and start-up phases require a temporary expansion of the existing maintenance team. We are looking for people who will work for the project for 1.5 years and who fill vacancies in the customer’s regular maintenance team. After the start-up of the project, the plant unit will be accommodated in the maintenance organisation.

Activities during project phase:

  • Commissioning & Start-up related activities, such as testing and calibration.
  • Providing support to the maintenance organisation in the area of technical expertise.
  • Participating in Maintenance studies, such as Maintainability reviews and FMEA/RCM for new systems.
  • Participating in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
  • Drafting and reviewing procedures, QA protocols, work instructions and trainings.
  • Attending training courses and training new employees.
  • Setting up and validating SAP master data such as material numbers, BoM, maintenance plans, asset hierarchy, etc.
  • Thinking along in setting up the scope of maintenance contracts with suppliers and maintenance firms.

What we’re asking

  • Post-secondary vocational education: Electrical Engineering or comparable training.
  • Willing to work in shifts during the start-up phase.
  • Willing to participate in the call-out organisation.
  • Experience in working with a computer and knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
  • Being able to perform tasks carefully and independently.
  • Quick and accurate response to changes in process or organisation.
  • Team player and good communication skills.
  • VCA (pre).
  • Driving license (B).
