Dangote Central Control Room (CCR) Rotational Job

  • CCR Operator will be responsible for monitoring and controlling various sections of the production line from the Central Control Room (CCR) at Dangote Cement Plc
  • This role requires precision and adherence to standards in the cement production process. The CCR Operator will provide relevant information and direction to patrollers and operators in the production line based on monitored operations, ensuring employee safety and compliance with prescribed standards and environmental regulations
  • Monitor and control all sections of the plant process lines from the CCR
  • Provide constant feedback and guidance to shift coordinators, engineers, patrollers, and operators
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot potential operating problems
  • Review plant automation systems and make recommendations for improvement
  • Prepare detailed reports on work undertaken
  • Supervise casual staff to ensure smooth operation and cleanliness of conveyor belts
  • Achieve cement and clinker production targets during respective shifts
  • Send daily plant record to shift coordinator
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the service by executing its target objectives.
  • Conduct its performance evaluation (PMS Evaluation Mi and end course)
  • Attend training to build skills
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the shift coordinator

QSE Responsibilities

  • Know and fully apply DCC’s API, IMS, HSSE requirements, policies, procedures.
  • Take care of his own health and safety in the workplace and ensure that acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other people
  • Take appropriate measures to minimize risks to quality, health and the environment
  • Communicate any case of hazardous situation to the Top management or QSE representative
  • Engage in the QHSE system by organizing/participating to all mandatory training and awareness
  • Propose and carry out improvement, corrective and/or preventive actions
