Leading onshore operating company in Dubai, looking for Commissioning Engineer for 4 to 5 months contract based. 20+ years of experience in Hydrocarbon industry, specific to Expander – Compressor/Gas processing plant and associated facilities. Knowledge of API 617/B31.8 codes. Strong background in onshore gas compressor, rotatory and static equipment, gas processing plant with past experience in commissioning of significant hydrocarbon project, both greenfield and brownfield. Performs advanced commissioning, troubleshooting, and fact-finding tasks on the control system, process, stationary and rotating equipment and associated auxiliary systems. Commissioning and startup of control systems and equipment. Ensure proper integration of equipment control system and plant control system to have a safe startup.
Develop procedure and ensure flawless startup is achieved.
Identify and assemble required documentation, drawings, and data.
Develop Local Equipment Room specific commissioning plans.
DCS system interface and commissioning.
Electrical system commissioning with Vendor supports.
Schedule and lead commissioning meetings including proper documentation.
Submit progress reports and commissioning meeting notes to the project manager.
