Gulf Keystone Petroleum is an independent oil and gas company and leading upstream operator in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Thus, we are looking for a number of high calibre individuals to hold the position of Field Operator at GKPI produdion facility.
Major Duties pnd Responsibilities;
Operate field process and utility systems e#ectivety and safely. G.KP.L has Operating Procedures that are expected to be followed along with local regulatory compliance. Communicate with the control room operator and Process Supervisor perform necessary tasks safely in order to keep the Field facility operating efficiently
Monitor, maintain, and optimize process parameters (Level, flow, pressure, temperature, etc.) within operating limits.
Ensure sampling is carried out and acted upon if needed.
Troubleshoot process equipment to maintain quality export product at said volume.
Monitor electrical and pneumatic equipment, safety and emergency shutdown devices and fire and qas
systems.
Ensure timely readings and production reports are completed at required time.
Follow Permit to work system, and safety management system that are in place.
Facilitate maintenance by installing and removing isdations as required
Inh Knnwledan. Skills and Exnerience:
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a hydrocarbon facility.
Must be Good in English, Kurdish and Arabic.
Understanding of permit to work system, isolation systems and risk assessment.
Knowledge of E.S.D. systems. fire and aas svstems. basic knowledge of DCS or PLC systems.
Capable of understanding PID’s.
