Senior Electrician
JOB DESCRIPTION
Assembly of all electrical components, control panel building, hardwiring on new equipment to be performed as per drawings & specifications.
Record all data during internal & final testing in the test reports as per quality management system ISO 9001:2000.
Recommend store to maintain minimum inventory of items with lead-time.
Creates Electrical drawings, Reports, Specification of a Project and Product to ensure completeness, correctness, comply with the scope of work, requirements and advises the Design Engineer for any deficiency
Assists the Design Engineer and c oordinates with the collection and dissemination of Technical/ Design/Drafting information with Drafting & Project Management Team on Electrical Specification
Provides QA/QC Department the necessary part/machine/schematic drawings on time for completion of Product Manual.
Ensures that the Designer’s intention and requirements are fully integrated.
Performs design calculations necessary to ensure the performance of the product.
Assists Design Engineer in the design of electrical element as per International Standard
Maintains confidentiality of the design and drawings. Information on design, copies of drawing must not be given to any one including SOP and MSE personnel unless authorized by the General Manager & Senior Engineer.
Maintains Company’s Archive for drawings, photos and Master data for produced Products & Projects, for fast access to hard and soft copies
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES :
Must have knowledge in Electrical Diagram preparation
Good trouble shooting skills
Must have knowledge in servicing electrical equipment
Familiar with Factory Acceptance Test Report and Site Acceptance Test Report
Must have knowledge on basic hydraulics, electrical schematic, and instrumentation schematic
Must have good skills in computer, customer communication and service.
Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics
Able to prepare bill of materials for electrical installations
Must have Electrical Wiring Skills
Good Mentoring and Coaching Skill
