What’s the role?
As a Mechanical Technician, you will perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical safety-critical equipment. Your role ensures the technical integrity and reliability of plant equipment and facilities are consistently maintained.
What do we need from you?
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on non-critical equipment and Safety Critical Elements (SCE), adhering strictly to departmental work instructions and procedures.
Inspire and motivate team members and contractors to achieve zero non-compliance.
Assist senior technicians with maintenance tasks on non-critical equipment such as compressors, pumps, fin fans, blowers, catalyst change-outs, and repairs of heat exchangers, vessels, columns, and other static equipment.
Be proficient in SAP-Crystal (materials and services) and PME processes and be available for call-out duties.
Read and understand Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Risk Assessment Matrix (RAM) and actively participate in toolbox meetings with team members and contractors before commencing any work.
Ensure full compliance with all Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) requirements, especially for critical activities such as heavy lifting, confined space entry, hot work, high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ), and working at heights.
