SENIOR DRILLING SUPERVISOR

The Role:
Act as the senior company representative at the drilling rig. Is accountable for the technical integrity of the well, accuracy and completeness of reports and company property. Accountable for planning and executing all aspects of the drilling program; the health and safety of all operational personnel, and protection of the environment, Operations performed according to government regulation and in accordance with clients standards.

Oversee the drilling and completion operations in line with the programs provided by clients in order to ensure drilling and completion operations are delivered in a timely, costs effective, safe and efficient manner
Supervise all personnel, prepare workforce plans and implement them safely in order to meet drilling objective
Ensure the Rig equipment and third party equipment is in safe working condition in order to maintain a safe working environment
Monitors and influence performance of numerous Contractor personnel and equipment
Work closely with onshore and offshore Production, Logistic, SSHE, Geology Reservoir and Construction Teams in order to ensure smooth integrated of all combined operations in line with operational activities
Prepare written instructions to Drilling Rig Contractor & Service Contractors for optimum understanding and clarify on drilling related issue

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge & Experience:

University Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or any other relevant engineering degree with a drilling background

Experience:
Minimum 15 years of offshore drilling experience as Drilling Supervisor on JACK-UP, SEMI SUBMERSIBLE and Tender Assist Drilling Rigs in the Oil and Gas industry including extensive PMCD experience. Candidate should have 5 years offshore drilling experience in South East Asia

Skills:
Planning & Organizing skills
Update on new technology, models and equipment
Experience in working with multi nationalities
Experience in building a safety culture
