Duties and responsibilities
•Start-up, shut-down and operate Diesel Generator Power Plant systemsthrough different control panels(DCS, SSS, F&G, CCTV, PMS, etc.) in control room to manage and meet the Company’s objectives and production targets.
•Monitor, maintain and optimize Power generation and distribution parameters(Level, flow, temperature, pressure etc.) within operating requirements. •Communicate with Power Technicianfor parameter adjustments in field.
•Report to PowerShift Supervisors in case of parameter abnormalities and process deviations immediately.
•Monitor and Record the status of all ESD, Fire and Control Safety Defeat Overrides, ensuring compliance with guidelines and removal at earliest opportunity •Makes power generation units and distribution switchgears switching decision based on the Plant demand and to maintain Power network stability.
