Astute are working exclusively to find an enthusiastic Plant Operator to support with the day to day running of the of sites Anaerobic Digestion plant. We are looking for someone who wants to learn, develop and thrive within the renewable energy sector.

Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, as a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Day to day operations on the Anaerobic Digestion plant
- Visual plant and equipment fault-finding
- Performing first line maintenance activities
- Feeding the fuel into the hoppers/plant
- Be part of a callout rota
- Driving and operating mobile plant on site
- Keeping the site clean and tidy
- Contributing to positive site operations and looking for continuous improvement opportunities
- Other duties as required
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Must have a full clean driving licence (essential)
- Be located within 15 minutes’ drive of the plant, although accommodation can be provided
- Telehandler licence and able to drive mobile plant is an advantage
- Basic electrical and mechanical skills is an advantage
- Anaerobic Digestion experience would be ideal, but if not, someone from an agricultural, treatment plant / process plant background
- A genuine desire to learn and develop
