Electrical and Instrument Commissioning Technician Jobs

Our Client, a major oil and gas firm with an offshore project in the offing, is recruiting for two positions:

  1. Electrical Commissioning Technician (Marine and Topsides)

Responsibilities include:

Communicate with other disciplines, departments and contractors
Understand the need for and adherence to the Permit to Work and Lock-Out Tag-Out Procedures and follow safe working practices
Understand, interpret and work from various forms of project documentation such as the MC/PC Procedure, Punch list Procedure, As Built Procedure
Understand, interpret and work from various forms of project drawings such as SLD’s, Wiring Diagrams, schematics etc.
Verify MC, commission.
Preparation of temporary electrical systems and power supply.

  1. Instrument Commissioning Technician:

Responsibilities include:
Communicate with other disciplines, departments and contractors
Understand the need for and adherence to the Permit to Work and Lock-Out Tag-Out Procedures and follow safe working practices
Understand, interpret and work from various forms of project documentation such as the MC/PC Procedure, Punch list Procedure, As Built Procedure, Vendor Manuals etc.

Note: Candidates must have experience working on FPSO/FSO vessels.
