Field Operation Technician Refinery Kuwait Job

We are looking to hire the following position for our Operation & Maintenance Services project for (Refinery) in Kuwait:

Junior Field Operation Technician

Should have Marine Terminal Operations Experience (3 – 5 years)

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Loading /unloading of tanks to and from vessels, corresponding line up and Loading/ unloading and Utilities Startup pre-checks.
• Blending operations involving inter-tank Transfers, in-line blending, on-board blending, and blending of chemicals and additives.
• Attending cargo tank and vessel filling.
• Carry out the Connection / Disconnection of Marine Loading Arms, Gangway rigging, the Line up of process lines for Tanker Cargo transfer operation, ESD Link Connection/ Disconnection.
• Carry out Routine Shift rounds as per Daily Standing instructions
• Executing line pigging, Line packing, various stripping, circulation, Nitrogen bubbling, de-watering of tanks, preparation for tank cleaning, sampling, and gauging.
• Operation of various equipment and utilities such as centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, centrifugal air compressors, diesel generators, hot oil heaters, Nitrogen production unit, and effluent management unit.
• Inspection of Hot, Cold work, and confined space entry sites and permits.
• Supervision and coordination of contractor works and activities.
• Performing routine checks and enforcing safety precautions and measures.
• Oily water separator operations.
• Fire water pumps operations.

Education and Experience:

Experience in similar positions – 3 years for Diploma Holders, 7 years for High School Track Record.
Experience in the field of Refinery / Petrochemicals industries in handling activities related to Refinery Field Operators.
Specific Process Units experience relevant to Sulphur Pelletizing/ Sulphur loading Pier/Refinery Tank farm / Oil Pier is required.
Good Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment Management Systems.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good written, and verbal communication skills in English
AGE (Years) 25-35 yrs.
